Looks like almost everyone is working remotely. We were thrusted blindly into the brave new world and have risen to the occasion of getting the job done, but what about the social, emotional and mental health of ourselves, our coworkers and our teams? Has isolation set in?

Bear in mind that belonging, or a sense of community, is the most important aspect of our lives. People need people. What we are seeing is leaders and employees resistant to anything different, and paralyzing anxiety about the unknown.

In this current disruptive environment, many leaders are struggling and finding they are wearing thin. There is one pivotal theme emerging – there must be more than business as usual because the same rules of engagement at a distance are simply not enough.

At the core, it’s about empowering the right leaders to transform the underlying assumptions of the organization and work itself. We are discovering that forward leaning organizations and their leaders see this disruption as an opportunity to innovate.
