There’s a lot of conventional wisdom floating around the workplace, which is generally accepted as good advice. For example, building strong relationships with your coworkers is a great idea! Not overdoing it at the company social event and making a fool of yourself is also a smart decision. Unfortunately, some of the conventional wisdom we’ve come to accept in business is actually hurting us more than it’s helping.

This is a webinar designed to challenge some of the longer-held assumptions about workforce dynamics and personal development that seem to be causing more harm than good. In the webinar, Matt Havens will dive into three myths that are hurting the HR and L&D professional the most and help shed light on the solutions we desperately need to debunk them for good. By addressing and then correcting these oversights, this webinar will help you expand your understanding of the real challenges facing HR and L&D professionals today.

During this webinar, we will discuss:

  • Three myths that are hurting the HR and L&D professional the most, targeted towards the areas of culture, employee engagement, and leadership training.
  • Build understanding of how we got here and why these myths exist in the first place.
  • Explore the practical solutions HR and L&D professionals can implement to influence change at their organizations related to these myths.
